View from the Peace River

This under-construction replacement for the old Charlotte County Auditorium is located on the Peace River in the heart of downtown Punta Gorda.  It will be open for business around January of 2009.  The 43,000 square foot conference and event facility will boast a 20,000 square foot main hall (The Hibiscus Hall) that can seat more than 1,500 in theater style or 900 in a banquet configuration.  Two additional conference rooms (The Myakka River Room and the Peace River Room) are 1,786 square feet each but can be broken down into four rooms of 890 square feet each.


East Elevation

Conference and event goers will enter through the grand entrance (below) located on Taylor Street but will have access to the great lawn and Riverwalk from the conference room section of the building.
