Team Punta Gorda
Innovative Community Projects Mini-Grant Program

Overview:
The purpose of the TEAM Punta Gorda Mini-Grant Program is to identify innovative projects proposed in the City of Punta Gorda where small amounts of seed money can make a big difference.

TEAM Punta Gorda was organized as a nonprofit corporation to promote and encourage the preservation and the rebuilding of the City of Punta Gorda and Charlotte County, Florida, subsequent to the catastrophic event occurring on August 13, 2004 [Hurricane Charley] and the ensuing devastation thereafter.

The purpose of the Corporation is exclusively charitable and educational within the meaning of IRC Section 501[c][3].

One mission of TEAM Punta Gorda is to determine the most appropriate course by which to preserve the historic nature and the visual identity of the area while repairing the damage and rebuilding the destruction in concert with the Citizens Master Plan 2005 [CMP 2005].
